Die Themen Klimaschutz und Nachhaltigkeit, darunter insbesondere Gebäudeenergieeffizienz, gewinnen zunehmend - nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern weltweit - an Aktualität und Bedeutung. Auch innerhalb der buildinSMART-Community spielen nachhaltiges Planen und Bauen eine wichtige Rolle. buildingSMART Deutschland freut sich daher, die in diesem Jahr vom 24. bis 25. März 2020 im Croke Park in Dublin stattfindende Greenbuild-Europe-Konferenz als ideeller Partner zu unterstützen. Dort wird sich unsere buildingSMART-Fachgruppe Nachhaltigkeit mit einer Präsentation zur Open-BIM-Implementierung im Bereich des Nachhaltigen Bauens mit dem Titel "Using BIM to simply LCA during the design process" beteiligen.
Within the buildingSMART-Community the Sustainable Design and Development plays important role in Digitalisation as well as BIM-Projects.

The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) will hold the 3rd annual Greenbuild Europe conference, the premier event in Europe for green building and sustainability professionals. This event unites architects, engineers, contractors, sustainability leaders and more to discuss industry trends, new research, emerging technologies and the future of green buildings, cities and communities.
