Airport Entity Project Session auf der BIM World MUNICH 2023

Die Airport Entity Project Session ist eine gemeinsame Veranstaltung von buildingSMART Deutschland und buildingSMART Austria in Kooperation mit der Airport Domain von buildingSMART International. Die Veranstaltung findet daher in englischer Sprache statt. Die Teilnahme ist kostenfrei, eine vorherige Anmeldung ist aber wünschenswert.
Zudem benötigen die Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer ein Congress-Ticket für die BIM World MUNICH 2023.

Wenn Sie noch kein Ticket für den Kongress haben, können Sie sich bei unserer Assistenz melden. Sie bekommen dann einen Ticket-Code für das normale Messe-Ticket und können das Upgrade zum Kongress-Ticket vergünstigt buchen (290 € statt 349 €).

In der Session werden die für den Betrieb von Flughäfen relevanten Ergänzungen zum IFC-Standard vorgestellt, die im Rahmen des sogenannten "Airport Entity Project" bei buildingSMART International erarbeitet werden.

Die Teilnehmer erhalten einen Einblick in den Nutzen einer einheitlichen openBIM-Datenstruktur für Flughäfen und erfahren auch, wie in einem Standardisierungsprojekt bei buildingSMART International gearbeitet und die Qualität der Ergebnisse gesichert wird. 

Ziel dieser Session ist es, dass BIM-Anwender den Nutzen der auf dem offen zugänglichen Merkmalserver buildingSMART Data Dictionary (bSDD) veröffentichten Inhalte besser verstehen und sich zukünftig vielleicht selbst an der Weiterentwicklung des Airport Entity Project beteiligen.

Die Veranstaltung teilt sich in zwei Teile:

• Vorstellung der Arbeitsweise der Projektgruppe, Ergebnisse und Nutzen für die Praxis von Flughafenbetreiber
  Referenten: Arisca Droog und Maya Tryfona (beide: Schiphol Airport und bSI Airport Domain) sowie und Christoph Eichler (Vienna Airport, bSI Airport Domain) 
• Diskussion vorbereiteter Schwerpunktthemen sowie Beantwortung und Diskussion der Fragen aus dem Publikum.

This event will take place as part of BIM World MUNICH 2023 and will be held in English. It is a joint session of buildingSMART Germany and buildingSMART Austria in cooperation with the Airport Domain of buildingSMART International. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. Participants also need a Congress Ticket for BIMWorld 2023.

In this joint session of buildingSMART Germany and buildingSMART Austria, in co-operation with the Airport Domain of buildingSMART International, the additions to the IFC standard relevant for the operation of airports will be presented, which are being developed within the framework of the so-called "Airport Entity Project" at buildingSMART International.

Participants will gain an insight into the benefits of a standardised openBIM data structure for airports and also learn how buildingSMART International works in a standardisation project and how the quality of the results is ensured.

The aim of this session is for BIM users to better understand the benefits of the content published on the openly accessible server buildingSMART Data Dictionary (bSDD) and perhaps participate in the further development of the Airport Entity Project themselves in the future.

The event is divided into two parts:

• Presentation of the working methods of the project group, results and benefits for the practice of airport operators
  Speakers: Arisca Droog and Maya Tryfona (both: Schiphol Airport and bSI Airport Domain) and Christoph Eichler (Vienna Airport, bSI Airport Domain)
• Discussion of prepared key topics as well as answering and discussing questions from the audience
